The Ballina Heights estate has some very steep blocks of land. These have great views and access to breezes but require careful design to make them accessible and livable. The approach with this project was to split the floor levels, with the entry on the lower level and living on the upper level opening out to the rear North facing garden and verandah. This house is part of a strata approval, with a second house to be built on the front portion of the block in the future. The location of the houses was planned to ensure privacy, outlook & quality outdoor areas for both houses.
